You’ll always know where your mobile devices are and where they’ve been with 2X MDM – the service automatically stores complete location history for each device or only for specific groups for complete analysis. Improve customer service and response times by supervising the routes your employees take – send them directions with Bing Maps and redirect your nearest available employee to customer call outs.

Location History

2X MDM will not only store the current location of all your connected devices, but will also keep a detailed log of all the locations the device and employee have been to.

Location updates are triggered based on the time and distance traveled. For example, if a device moves more than 50 meters (configurable), a location update is logged.

Locations are shown with their full address using Bing Maps and only location changes are stored, avoiding excess data. Location History can be exported for further analysis and you can choose to collect location data via Wi-Fi, Mobile Network or GPS.

Turn Off Location History by Group

Location History can be configured to work differently between groups using Group Policies.

You are given complete control over which groups of devices have their location history stored, allowing you to exclude departments for which location history tracking is not appropriate.

Soon 2X MDM will allow you to specify during which times you want to store location updates, and avoid collecting location updates outside working hours as well as turning on and off the Location History by group.

Pinpoint any location with Bing Maps from 2X MDM’s Dashboard and send your employees the location as a message.

When employees open the message, their Bing Maps app shows them the exact location thus making it easier for them to find their next destination.

Sending directions to your employees also improves your employees productivity, customer service and response time.
