New Feature: Universal Scanning

With the release of the 2X ApplicationServer/VirtualDesktopServer Version 8, we have included an option to use TWAIN-enabled scanners connected directly to your PC and/or thin client (using Windows Embedded) and have the ability to scan to applications located on a terminal server (i.e. EMR, ERP or document management software). Many of our medical customers have requested this feature for medical records scanning, and we’d like to thank everyone that contributed to our Beta release.
With the upcoming release of Version 8.1, be watching for additional compatibility for WIA-enabled scanners and full 64-bit support. For more details, please view the video below to setup, configure and use the 2X Universal Scanning and Printing feature:
