Tap on the ‘Settings’ icon to configure the settings for your iOS device when using Parallels 2X RDP Client.

Security and Layout

Accept All Certificates

When set to ‘ON’, all certificates will be accepted automatically.

Auto Sort Connections

When set to ‘ON’, all connections created will be sorted by name.

Auto Sort Application Listing

When set to ‘ON’, all published resources created will be sorted by name.

Clear all Connections

This setting will remove all connections and secure information. You will be prompted to erase or cancel if you choose to remove all connections and secure information.

User Input

Keyboard Type

2X PC Keyboard: A fully emulated PC keyboard will be used while on a connection with a remote computer.

iOS Native Keyboard: This setting selects the iOS native keyboard to be used over remote sessions.

Key Clicker: When set to ‘ON’, when tapping on the keyboard during a session, with each keyboard click there will be an audible sound of a ‘click’.

Keyboard Locale

Tap this option so that you will be able to select your preferred keyboard layout from the languages shown below.

Device Language: The keyboard locale will automatically be set to that set on the iOS device.

Configure Gestures

The actions for available gestures can be configured using this option.

The following gestures are supported by the Parallels 2X RDP Client:

Please note that some of the action cannot be configured.

All the configurable gestures can be set to one of the following actions:

Sleep On Idle

If set to ‘ON’, and the device is not used for a specific amount of time, the device will go into sleep mode if the connection is lost.

Auto Reconnect

If set to ‘ON’, your device will reconnect automatically if your connection is lost and then the network becomes available.

About 2X

Tap on the ‘About’ icon to access information about 2X RDP app. This screen contains the 2X RDP App version and copyright information. Apart from that, this screen displays 2X contact & resource information.
