Add a New Standard RDP Connection
Adding a New Standard RDP Connection
Note: Using a standard RDP Connection to connect to a remote server, does not include features such as ‘Activate Keyboard’, ‘Mail and URL’ redirection. Additional functionality requires a 2X Remote Application Server connection.
After choosing to add a new connection, tap on ‘Standard RDP’ to add a new RDP connection. Most settings are the same as when adding a new 2X Remote Application Server connection.
Enter an Alias name that describes your RDP connection. The ‘Alias’ name gives the connection a display name for better readability.
Enter the primary server name or IP address of the connection.
For all RDP connections the default port is 3389.
Enter your account user name, i.e.: user@domain. Then enter the password of the RDP connection.
Please note that is disabled when using Remote Desktop Connection.
