2X Enables Businesses To Use Apple PCs Without Setting Windows Aside
The new 2X Mac client enables
Mac OS X to run Windows applications and desktops
remotely
Dallas/Irving, USA, 20 May 2008 – Apple Mac OS X users can now run Windows applications seamlessly on their desktop with 2X ApplicationServer's Mac Client. The 2X ApplicationServer is available for free for up to 5 connections at:

Until now, Apple Macintosh users could
only run Windows applications installing local virtualization software
such as, VMware, Parallels or Apple’s Boot Camp solution. This type
of software typically needs a lot of resources and is difficult to configure.
However, with 2X ApplicationServer, any Windows application or desktop can be run
via a secure SSL connection from a Microsoft Terminal Server on Mac
desktops using any LAN or Internet connection by installing the
very light 2X Mac Client.
"With the 2X ApplicationServer Mac Client, we want to address all those companies
that use or want to use Apple Macintosh PC's as part of their IT infrastructure
and need to run Windows applications on those machines. Now they can
run Windows applications and desktops from any location without installing
virtualization software locally" said Nikolaos Makris, 2X CEO.
About 2X ApplicationServer
