Managing Mobile Applications

Managing mobile applications on many devices manually is an arduous and time-consuming task. With 2X Mobile Device Management (2X MDM ) you can mass deploy corporate apps, remotely review installed apps, monitor for malware or inappropriate apps and remove apps, all with a few mouse clicks.

Mass Deploy Apps To Groups Of Devices

2X MDM allows you to easily deploy apps to groups of devices. Define a set of apps that should be installed on all devices or groups of devices – for example, a group based on a department.

You can define apps present on Google Play or the Apple Appstore, or apps that are stored only on your 2X MDM App Repository.

You can also deploy APK files directly to mobile devices.

Monitor For Inappropriate Apps

With 2X MDM you can easily review the apps that are installed on all your employees’ devices and quickly find inappropriate apps that might affect corporate productivity or simply waste data transmission capacity.

You can pinpoint potential rogue apps that might put sensitive corporate data at risk and uninstall them with a single mouse-click.

In this way, the 2X MDM administrator can easily monitor the apps that are downloaded, and protect not only the employees, but the devices and corporate data as well.

Whitelist Apps

To contribute to employees’ productivity, you can create a Whitelist of apps that can be downloaded and installed on your employees’ devices.

2X MDM will notify the administrator and the device user when a download violates an application control policy.

Application Control is enforced through group policies. Devices belonging to a group policy abide by the application Whitelist defined within that group.

Blacklist Apps

If there are particular applications that you do not want employees to install, you can create a Blacklist for the whole company or for particular groups.

2X MDM also allows you to install alerts, every time a blacklisted app is installed and indicate which devices are involved.
