2xterminalServer and Centos5 Install

Postby Mauricio » Fri Sep 28, 2007 12:15 am

Hi, I´m trying to install 2xTS to a Centos5 box and when I do :

rpm -ivh 2xterminalserver-1.5.0-61.i586.rpm

I get this :

error: Failed dependencies:
libstdc++.so.5 is needed by 2xterminalserver-1.5.0-61.i586
libstdc++.so.5(CXXABI_1.2) is needed by 2xterminalserver-1.5.0-61.i586
libstdc++.so.5(GLIBCPP_3.2) is needed by 2xterminalserver-1.5.0-61.i586
libstdc++.so.5(GLIBCPP_3.2.2) is needed by 2xterminalserver-1.5.0-61.i586

Does anyone have had a similar problem on Centos5 ?
If so, what was the solution?

Would it be necessary to install free-nx for 2xTS to work properly ( I´ve hear that 2x uses the same librarys ) ?

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Yes, I had the same trouble.
Some yum install needed here...
hint : install yumex, then search for the libstdc++.so and install those RPM.

It works just fine then.
