Switching from MySQL to Microsoft SQL

Switching between a Microsoft SQL and a MySQL

  1. Create a backup of your current MySQL installation. To create a backup click on the “System Backup” node under “System” from the sidebar and then click on the “Create Backup” button.

  1. Once the backup is created, click on it and then click on “Download Backup”. 2X ThinClientServer will prompt you for a location to save the backup.
  2. Reinstall 2X ThinClientServer and while completing the Wizard, select Microsoft SQL as your database.

  1. Once the Wizard is complete, restore the backup taken in Step 2 by clicking on the “System Backup” node under “System” and then click on “Restore from File”
