Management Team:

Nikolaos Makris – CEO

Nikolaos joined 2X at its inception, bringing with him over 20 years of executive-level software development and sales experience, including serving as Aldus (later Adobe) Director of the Central Europe MIS Department, and Managing Director for GFI Software GmbH and GFI Cyprus. At 2X he is responsible for the general strategic direction of the company.

Paul Gafa’ – CTO

Before joining 2X in 2006, Paul was Projects Leader at HOB Software for 8 years. Paul studied industrial electronics at the Fellenberg Training Centre and has 15 years of experience in communication software specializing in terminal emulations and Windows Terminal Server. At 2X, Paul is responsible for the overall 2X product development.

Scott Sims – Sales Director

Scott joined 2X in 2009 as the General Manager of the 2X Americas office, where his efforts were essential in creating the direct sales team. A veteran sales professional in the Cloud computing market, Scott brings to 2X ten years of senior sales experience. Prior to joining 2X, Scott worked at Application IT where he served as COO, focusing on virtual desktop infrastructure and leveraging 2X ApplicationServer XG. A graduate of Oklahoma University in Norman, OK, Scott earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Entrepreneurship

Charlie Williams – Marketing Director

Charlie joined 2X Software in January 2013, bringing with him more than ten years of senior leadership experience in both the business to business and business to consumer technology markets. Before joining 2X, Charlie served as Head of Sales with Uniblue Systems and held senior marketing, sales and business development roles at Channel Source Direct. At 2X, Charlie will be responsible for the global go-to-market strategy of the 2X product line. A graduate of Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, Charlie earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management & Marketing with a certificate in International Business.

Nick Galea – President

Nick founded 2X in 2004 with over 15 years of experience in building and leading enterprise product development teams, co-founding GFI Software in 1992. While CEO of GFI, the company grew to become a dominant security provider, with hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide, offices in 8 countries and more than 200 employees. Nick is also the CEO and founder of Acunetix. In his free time, Nick posts his personal views on his blog, Nick on IT.
